During the winter season 2011/2012, I meet a little challenge: try to receive atleast one radio station on every longwave channel between 153 and 279 kHz. Well, the result is not that bad I think. I was able to pick up stations on every channel, except for 180 kHz which cannot be received in my area due to Deutschlandradio's Zehlendorf transmitter on 177 and Europe1 on 183. In view of my less optimal reception place, some stations surprised me very much. Aspecially iceland and bulgaria are not heard so often here at my location. All stations received at a indoor place near Wittstock/Dosse, Brandenburg, Germany (12° 20 east, 53° 17 north). Receiver was an Sangean ATS909W using it's build-in antenna.
And here is what I've heard:
153 kHz - Deutschlandfunk (Donebach, Germany)
153 kHz - Antena Satelor / Radio Romania Aktualitati (Brasov Bod, Romania)
162 kHz - France Inter (Allouis, France)
171 kHz - Radio Rossii (Bolshakovo, Russia/Kaleningrad)
171 kHz - Golos Rossii (probably Kavkaz Radio (Tbilisskaya, Russia))
171 kHz - Radio Méditerranée Int'l (Nador, Marocco)
